Some say how can a friendship be developed and last a lifetime with only a 7 month acquaintance? Mike and I worked side by side in Washington state back in winter/spring of 2013. Long hours of work, and many meals provided us an opportunity to share some of our blessings in life. It was clear as I got to know Mike, he was a serious professional and very passionate about his family. He provided great insights and reinforcement about ensuring one takes every opportunity to enjoy the gifts of God….our children, and savor every single moment. I often thanked Mike for providing me “clarity” as I enjoyed another chance at an older age with a young second family. Mike loved and was proud of all his children, and I consider it an honor to have been rewarded with 7 months of his company, and will always consider our short time a friendship for a lifetime.
