Mike was a great leader both compassionate and stern when needed. Always gave the right answer even if it wasn’t the one you wanted to hear. He could see the good in all, even in times of darkness. A laugh that was contagious and could change the moods of individuals. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet, and work with Mike in Washington. He forever changed my life and I am thankful for that, he will be deeply missed.
