The fondest memories I have of Mike are from when he and Laurel were my youth group leaders at Deer Valley Church. One time in particular we were going camping in the middle of nowhere! It was so far out that Mike had to take us by groups of 4 or 5 in his jeep to the campsite. He was so much fun to be around and always kept us laughing. He inspired me to be a better Christian. I appreciated he and Laurel and their ministry to my youth group. He will be missed.
